Terms & Conditions

- Cancelation Policy: If you cancel within 45 days of arrival date, your account will be charged the entire rental fee, unless we are able to secure another occupant of equal value. If we do secure another occupant, then you will receive full or partial refund of your prepaid rental fee, less our $50.00 cancellation fee. 2. If you cancel earlier than 45 days of arrival date, you will receive a full refund of your prepaid rental fee, less our $50.00 cancellation fee. Lessor may cancel this reservation at any time by returning your full deposit. There are no cancellations due to inclement weather. Any approved change to arrival date is subject to a $50.00 charge.

- Travel Insurance: As of April 2020, the travel industry changed due to Covid-19. We encourage you to purchase trip insurance in this time of uncertainty as another way to cover yourself as a traveler if you want additional coverage outside our cancellation policies. If this is something you are interested in, simply follow this link – – and choose “start a new search”, you can enter in your trip details and find the best policy to suit your needs. 


Per our cancellation policy, refunds for communicable diseases or viruses are only offered if there is a full travel ban in place. We encourage you to purchase trip insurance through this third-party vendor to cover your trip for ANY REASON (weather, illness, etc.) you need to cancel. 


- Occupancy: The maximum occupancy for each unit includes all guests regardless of age.


- Arrival/Departure: Arrival is after 4:00 p.m. We work diligently to have our lodging facilities available for you by 4:00 PM, but there are rare occasions when additional cleaning may be required or when your hot tub may not be fully heated until later that night. Departure is before 10:00 a.m. We greatly appreciate guests following ALL instructions provided for departure. Early arrival or late departure may be available upon request. This offer is subject to availability and requires prior approval. This approval will not be able to be confirmed until 48 hours to arrival time at its earliest. Late check-outs will result in a $100 per hour fee for each guest who overstays without permission. 


- Pet Policy: As a policy, we do not allow any pets at any of our lodging facilities. With prior coordination, an exception may be provided to the guests based on breed, weight, and lodging facility, as well as the pet must be well behaved and housebroken. If an exception is made, written approval will be provided to the guests in the form of the booking messaging service. A pet fee of $65 per pet will be required if an exception is granted. Pets are NOT ALLOWED on any furniture or bedding. We also require that the guests clean up after their pet prior to departure, and all feces is disposed of in an outside waste container inside of a disposable bag. If excessive pet hair is found on furniture or bedding, as well as remnants of any pet urine/feces to include stains, a $250 cleaning charge will be added to the credit card on file.  If prior coordination is not provided and a pet is brought to the lodging facility, the pet fee increases to $200 per pet brought to the lodging facility. 

- Lost and Found: Please check drawers, under beds, etc. when leaving to check for your personal belongings. We will be happy to make a reasonable search for items as guests believe they may have left. If found, the item will be returned at the guest's expense.

- Smoking: Smoking is NOT permitted inside any of our lodging facilities or in any of the hot tubs. A $500 cleaning fee will be added to your bill if smoking was detected. Please properly discard cigarette butts if used outside. 

- Cleaning Responsibilities: If unusual cleaning is necessary, there may be an additional charge to your credit card on record. It is your responsibility to maintain the lodging facility in a neat and clean condition throughout your stay. Additional or unusual cleaning will be charged at the rate of $25.00 per hour, per staff member.


- Hot Tubs: Each lodging facility has its own hot tub. Please review the hot tub rules with each member of your group. Each guest should shower before and after each hot tub use. If any member of your party has skin sensitivities, high blood pressure, or is pregnant, they should not enter the hot tub. There is absolutely no smoking, use of bubble bath, bath oil, soaps, or any glass containers allowed in the hot tub. Please be sure not to sit on or otherwise damage the hot tub cover. Please keep the hot tub covered and if possible latched when not in use. Hot tubs are expensive and the cost will be passed along to the guest if these measures are not adhered to. 


- Malfunction of equipment: We do our best to make sure all amenities are in good working order. Occasionally electronics, satellite, phones, internet and other mechanical equipment will malfunction. We will do our best to repair these items in a timely manner, but will not make any rental concession for time without these items. Likewise, loss of electricity, water, or other “Acts of God” that are outside of our control will not result in a refund of any monies paid. Due to cleaning and servicing, hot tubs are sometimes not up to full temperature at the time of arrival and may need several hours to heat. We ask that you follow all guidelines and policies regarding use of amenities in order to keep them functioning at peak efficiency.


- Weather/Power Outages: Bad weather conditions may make travel to the Hocking Hills difficult. In addition, occasional power outages or other "Acts of God" that are outside of our control will not result in a refund of any monies paid. We will do our best to make your stay comfortable. During the winter months, it would be in your best interest to have a 4x4 vehicle to drive to your lodging accommodation. While we try to get the driveways plowed from snow, there are many factors that determine if and when we can get this accomplished. We do not provide refunds for inability to utilize the driveway due to weather conditions. 


- Furniture and Electronics: No moving of furniture or decor inside or outside of our lodging facilities. Do NOT disconnect or alter any electronic items.


- Damages and Theft: We have designed and furnished our lodging facilities with high quality materials and amenities. We expect that our guests will respect the inside, outside and surrounding property at all times. We reserve the right to charge your credit card for any damages or theft as a result of your stay. If you notice any problems upon arrival, please let us know immediately. Prior to your possession, Sol Chi Lodging has taken a detailed inventory of the contents of the unit. Any missing items will be charged the appropriate replacement cost. Do not move or add any furniture or appliances. Do not decorate without written approval from the management. Do not disconnect, alter or add any electronic appliance to the television system. As for missing or  damaged items, we will send you an itemized statement within thirty (30) days of your departure. Examples of charges are: furniture reset $100.00, TV, VCR, DVD, satellite or cable connection restoration $25 or actual cost, whichever is greater. Missing linens: $15.00 per item.

- Security Cameras: All of our properties have a ring security camera for outside security only. There are no cameras or recording devices of any kind inside any of our lodging facilities or near private areas (ie hot tubs). These security devices are utilized for obtaining evidence during a security incident at each lodging facility. 


- Liability: Renter agrees to assume all responsibility for an accident, injury or damage that may result in or about the premises, to persons or property (including those of Renter's guests), and that the Owner and its agents shall not be held liable, or responsible for such injury, accident, or damage. Renter assumes the risk involved with the use of the hot tub (If provided), swimming pool (if provided), pond and any and all other rental amenity and agrees to save harmless and indemnify the Owner and its agents from any and all claims and liability of any nature which may arise by reason of the use of the same renter or others using the same during renters occupancy. Renter assumes responsibility of all guests during the reservation time.


- Illegal Substances and Activity: Possession of any illegal substance or activity is prohibited. If suspected of utilizing an illegal substance or activity at any lodging facility, communication with guests will be the first response. Further action such as communication with local law enforcement may happen if management continues to suspect such use or activity. Removal of guests may be required and no refunds will be issued. 


- Hunting: Absolutely NO hunting of any kind is permitted anywhere on the property without prior written approval from management. 


- Fireworks/Firearms/Guns: Absolutely NO shooting fireworks, firearms or guns on the property.

- ATV's/motorcycles: Absolutely NO all-terrain vehicles, 4-wheelers, motorcycles or other recreational vehicles may be used on the property at any time. Only the use of motorcycles as a mode of transportation to the lodging facility may be used.


- Campfires: Campfires are permitted ONLY in the fire pit provided with your lodging facility. Absolutely NO fires permitted outside of these designated areas. Only firewood should be burned in the fire pit. Please ensure fire is properly extinguished before leaving the campfire area.


- Firewood Alert: It is illegal to move firewood in or out of Quarantined areas. Violators face up to $4000 fines. Please buy your firewood from local vendors within Hocking County. We have also arranged to have bundles of firewood delivered to your cabin. See our Packages for more information.
